This episode was the most I’ve been interested in this show in a while, but I’m still not sure if I’ll be back for season 2 (If there is one).

There is only 14 years of difference between them.

Yeah I think Ronnie’s only getting in via bribery at this point.

She hasn’t broken out Dark Betty all season so far.

I don’t think it’s a good sign that the first song into this that I immediately tuned out.

I assume he said something nice to her and she loved him again. That’s how every storyline of hers goes.

Never, she never hears herself. Because she’s a massive fool.

It sounds like he’s coming back to the present day storyline soon.

Yeah Mia just came across as a petulant teenager for most of the episode and most of the previous ones.

Yeah I spent all season being worried that they were going to go the route of every other Arrowverse show and have the hero abandon or downplay their personal lives in favor of being a hero full time, and they sort of did with him basically rolling over with Racist Principal but he still has a job so I don’t know.

Yeah this season was all over the place, between the Race war in the boondocks, everything with the ASA, Anissa’s robin hood story that felt like it was leading up to her taking a fall and it never happened, The racist principal storyline, the ripped from the headlines stuff that felt off, whatever the hell the stuff

I suspect that Jimmy will turn into Doomsday.

I thought Jon Cryer as Lex was very good and I’m glad that Otis is back and Tessmacher is actually a heel (I guess to replace Mercy who is actually still dead unfortunately) and that Lex is sticking around as a villain.

I thought that too but it didn’t happen.

Goddamn did Chris get big, he had a massive growth spurt since the last time we saw him.

In the show, not the books.

That’s because most of it ended up being cut and all we had left was sentient Meme Cheryl and her girlfriend Toni doing shit just because.

Oh I don’t know, if you told me that they broke up Cheryl and Toni because they had nothing in common I would believe you. It might have helped if we got some sort of development on their relationship instead of most of it being cut from the main show or not made at all.

I don’t think I will be back for season 2, I’ll finish this season out but it’s not keeping engaged enough to stick around beyond that.

Nondepressing is just not how this show rolls.
