Dear new owners. You are very stupid assholes.

Stick to commenting!

You guys are awesome. It is not hyperbole to say that this site often gets me through the day. Keep up the good work, and for the love of god do not stick to sports.

Man, I love people who self-own through being hilariously inept. You know, pumpkin thieves, thin-skinned vulture capitalist owners of blog sites, those kinds of folks.

What makes me the most sad is that with the death of Splinter, this is where I have to come for political snark. I’m not a sports fan by any means, but please, keep up the snarky part, it heartens me greatly.

God, I hope that "lock him up" chant burned its way into his insecure little facsimile of a soul and we get a torrent of rage tweets about it tomorrow. HOOK IT TO MY VEINS!

Where is the Commentariat heading next? I’ll miss reading all of you guys’ cogent comments, witty retorts and punny bon mots. Reply in the comments

Hey, just taking the chance to say to some of my favorite commenters here that I’m going to miss seeing your commentaries.  You’re one of the people I could always count on for some good writing.

I am going to miss Splinter. I checked this site at least four times a day for their take on the news, and I have become fond of the people that likewise participate in the collective madness that is the state of the world.

RIP Splinter, now what am I gonna do at work when I’m supposed to be working.

Thanks for getting me into a frothing rage during my breakfast for the past few years. I appreciate everything.

This morning, all of this became very real to me.

Splinter news was my favorite and most treasured newsblogsite thing. This is a most unceremonius end, and I’m so sad. You’ve all done great work Splinter team. Just so sad for you.

RIP Splinter.  We are now forever in the greys.

Same. Where else can I go where the writers are left, but the comments are less left and not like, qanon rightists trying to brigade the place to death. Going by Earther comments Gizmodo is mostly the latter. Kotaku’s always been the latter. Probably deadspin tbh.

They’ve (Democrats in the House) been saying it for months that these refusals are evidence of obstruction and will be treated as such. When are they going to throw the book at someone, anyone? Even just one fine or arrest by the sergeant-at-arms of a lower-level piece of shit like Giuliani might be enough to show

Of course It has to be hidden. If you looked at this perfect phone call transcript, well...

He’s healthy, but you can’t see his medical exams.
