oh man! why didn't you send that to erik wolpaw?! I mean seriously, the kid wants to put ghosts and fire underground and make you jump alot—it's grist for the mill, man!

3d realms totally paid these guys to come out with this so that the community could move on from duke—only then, when the legend is laid to rest will it rise again.

so... I ... It is me, or does this game have a huge contrast problem?

@OneFreeMan: obviously I'm super-late to the 'you sound like dork' party, but I guess I should answer, if for no other reason than to say, yes, I know, Diablo II is simple and straight forward, and basically like an MMO.

I don't hear anything here (since it's text, so at any rate, I don't read anything here) that messes up the game. Ninja Gaiden is a game with camera problems and targeting problems, in my experience. You get over them and learn to work with the game's expectations. In FU, I got used to the idea that the facing of the

music yes, game, no.

Oh okay.

@dowingba: Well, not to wax on, but the nearly insignificant proportion of my opinion represented by a contribution to a general election as opposed to a sales statistic which might actually have a relevant outcome in as little as a year from the date of my purchase, is something I enjoy much more than rolling my eyes

Finally! the opportunity to inhabit a strange nega-space out of time bandits where, it seems, some kind of drug bust was taking place before a mysterious force destroyed all the people, and replaced them with a handful of seemingly unconcerned bystanders staring at the 4th wall.

@dowingba: What's odd about it? Do you know about a revision to the electoral college and 2 party system that I haven't heard about?

I bought Braid, because I believe the only relevant democratic power I have in society is to vote with my wallet—and I wholeheartedly support the notion that a man with a bug up his ass can rope an artist into helping him make what is, essentially, an art piece.

@StartingAces: I like it too, but in terms of money, you can get more out of gametap, depending on what you're into..

@Zenrick2.0: yeah, the reality check is that people take drugs because life sucks, and you can't stop the sucking no matter how much you demonize the drug.

crates? An M-16? Grating?!

a new TACT?! Is it to remove suppression? No? Oh... well... is it to derandomize IO drops? No? Oh... well ... is it to reinstate xp awards for monster generators? No? Oh...

@Ellegunis: Ok, so maybe I'm Percy, and I don't belong on the Mile with you and Thom, but we've got a dead man walking he-a, and shucks... he ain't got no fight in him.

@kotaku:

It's anti-drug programs that get kids into drugs in the first place. It's like the South Park episode with the antismoking people 'hey, kids, if you don't smoke, you can grow up to be cool—JUST LIKE US' *cut to kids desperately smoking*.

'completely wipes the harddrive'? What the fuck are they talking about? Securom is annoying enough without distorting what it actually does.
