Know what I'd love? If they do a ghosts of Doctor's past pastiche with McGann and the other living Doctors weighing in to convince him to regenerate.
Except there have been plenty of references in the comics to Supergirl being stronger, including some comments from Superman directly. Ditto for the DCAU. Even Smallville touched on that a bit. At this point, Supergirl being the more powerful character is pretty established canon.

It was glorious, but I think the fight between Hood and Quintin in "Armies of One" tops it for me. Just something about a decapitation by truck that does it for me.

Eh, comparative to what it was, I suppose. Our extremely conservative government is actually probably slightly to the left of the Democrats in the U.S. but it sure has felt like a hell hole lately.
Deathbolt was a New Earth character. I'd be willing to bet this is going to be the start of some Multiverse plotting between The Flash and Arrow.
I recently rewatched two of my favorite sci-fi movies from that era with my kids; Flight of the Navigator and The Explorers. Both held up well, but The Explorers was a bigger hit with the kids.
