@DonLuc: BaconSandwich is correct. I'm in Alberta, and I just stepped outside and had a look around. He's not anywhere between me and Toronto. Trust me, we'd see him.

@two wheels are enough: Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're bigger, and we're on top. If this were prison, you'd be our bitch.
@wojo: Like your government can find us.
@dopplerd: Oily sand, largely. And by the time you guys get it, it's oil.
@MissingPieces: Duly noted. I'll retire my Stud Beefpile reports forthwith.
@Jo Schmo has lost that commenting feeling: Five minutes? That took much longer than I expected.
It's true, and I remain firmly convinced that engineerd is responsible for most of them.
@Flathead Smith Prefers the Days of Danger: Well, he didn't win, but one of the great comments of all time, and winner of the Commentariat's Choice COTD was in response to the QOTD, "Are you proud of your car?":
@uncleben: I'm okay with that. At least she chose a proper Canadian boy.
@uncleben: Not my Scarlett. She's perfect. No modifications needed.
@P161911: And it's small enough to fit in any movie car, and can be installed in a fiberglass replica car in an afternoon. By a trained monkey.
Most rolling-display movie cars do this. The beetle rear engine setup is easy to install, simple to maintain, widely available, and reliable. If the car is mostly green-screened or CGI, as in F&F, it doesn't need anything more. It's enough to get it moving for a few shots, and to move it from one shot to another.
@pauljones: Good points, and I agree with you to a point. However Ray, to date, has done nothing to demonstrate to me that he knows anything about cars. I know you like the guy, and I genuinely do respect what he's done at making Jalopnik profitable (or, closer to it). But in essence it's been a strategy of bringing…
The "cool" Camaro?? Uh. What?
@Mad_Science: And for me, of course. Because I'd miss you!
@stephdumas: Yeah, my point was that it was a whole lotta cockiness from Jalopnik when their editor-in-chief did the exact same thing as Time did, running off to NYC to chase his dreams of being a part of the media "in crowd", and failing to realize that if you REALLY belong in the "in crowd", they'll come to you.…
Hey, good for you guys. Now, which part of Detroit does Ray 'still' live in again?
@MrHowser: No, the Jez banhammer is likely covered in sequins and barbed wire. While I can't say much, let's just say my original statement is still accurate; it was Burberry that hit me.
Jay Leno had a fantastic quote from Monday's show. I'm paraphrasing, because unlike my friend I am unable to quote entire shows verbatim, but it was something to the effect of,
@Mad_Science: Well, that's still short to me. Must be because every photo I've seen of you has had you with Braff. So, I assume he's, what, 8'4", then?
