@crespo: You do make a good argument.
@crespo: You do make a good argument.
@engineerd: Why do I feel that needs a pair of googly eyes and an OM NOM NOM caption?
Apply directly to the head of the person responsible.
@MrHowser: Shit. My secret is out!
@deftonesboy360: Actually I think it just took a few years to mature. The Caddy lines, a few years ago, were horrendous. But now, in their second generation, they are damn fine looking cars. Just wish they'd have kept the XLR on for long enough to benefit from it.
@P161911: Yeah, they just do nothing for me. Not until the split-window Vette did they appeal to me in the slightest. They're pretty, but it comes back to something someone said the other day, if it's pretty but it doesn't do anything, is it still really that pretty?
The hands down winner of this year's International Origami Olympics was Mildred Eunice Jennings of East Sussex, UK, who folded this lovely... car-thing... in only 3 hours, 41 minutes. Tell me, Ms. Jennings, what was your inspiration?
@MarywithanM: Can I be Azreal?
@FP: Your Volvo is awesome! Anyway: Since the frame is bent and the cab is leaning forwards, they're probably actually pretty safe. Getting it down from there would be the harder part.
@area_educator: I second that motion. I'll go pester some people and see what I can do.
@duurtlang: Agreed, but the Iroc was a fair bit sexier than the Scirocco turned out to be, which breaks my heart quite a bit.
@Forgetful - GT Junkie: While I don't agree it's the best implementation — it looks fantastic in photos, not so much when it's rolling down the street — it was one of the truest, most faithful adaptations from concept to production. Good call!
@brownie has no witty phrase to add: Doesn't it kinda have to come to life first?
@skaycog - Game On!: I have to agree. I can't think of anything else that was as all-around WOW.
@Formerlythegreatestdriver: I agree with you, but apparently the rest of Jalopnik would prefer their cars in only the standard silver, light silver, dark silver, black and white.
@crespo: I think you're right, a cabriolet version couldn't look much better... but that doesn't mean it's good. It just means they should have left it as a coupe.
@mdensch: And why is the iPhone upside-down from the standard horizontal display position?
Yeah, mock all you like, but I want it. And that's the first time I've said that about a Lexus... ever.
@Never say maybe: Yes they have. It's just you who hasn't.
@cchannel BLT: Hmm. That is a GREAT idea!
