It looks reasonably appealing, but as soon as I caught up to the visual aspect and saw that it was a Lexus, I knew they would simply destroy anything fun about it, bugger up the lines on the nose so the creases go haphazardly off in all directions, and produce another milquetoast luxury car in the old Buick sense:

@Mad_Science: Why am I feeling like you're the Emperor and I'm Darth Vader?

@engineerd: It means we are both, once again, accepted back into the Illuminati.

@MarywithanM: as you were: Which just means that now I get to follow you around and click your promote button for everything you post. :)

@Ben Wojdyla: Which would be why it didn't sound right. I think it was a Hino.

How did I miss that one? Well done, Mr. B. I couldn't agree more. There's something relaxing about that whole process. I think I'd make a great farmer... if it weren't for that whole "farming" thing.

@Ben Wojdyla: I got a DOTS forklift photo the other day... I think it was a Hilo, but really, it's a forklift, I'm no pro at telling them apart.

Ah, the good old Alberta Hot Rods.

@bradyb: You captured my point perfectly. You buy the Prius or diesel if you want to overpay. (There is NO reason the diesels are so much more expensive in the states.)

@Mike the Dog: I was hunting through the CSRSL for that discussion, but I couldn't find it. Was it your idea? I couldn't remember who suggested it.

How does he open the hood?

@Tiberiuswise: Amen to that, and thank god for them. If it weren't for poor judgement, I'd be a very lonely man.

@nataku8_e30: VW isn't the only option. Mercedes, BMW, Audi, all have excellent diesels. If you're buying a Prius, you're already overpaying, so why not?

@Turbineguy: In a world of underpowered econoboxes, I'm fine with any vehicle with 500 horses, even if it is an SUV.
