Agreed. How does something this weak even get published? Does the author think he’s ruining Ansari’s routine by summarizing his jokes, or is he just trying to bore us all to death with his writing style?

Meanwhile, most of the uber-liberal, die-hard, Jez fans probably advocte for prison reform and rehabilitating inmates for reintroduction into society... sort of hypocritical.

It’s hard to believe that we reminisce of Denton’s ownership as the glory days. I haven’t been paying close enough attention to notice when the shift happened, but I concur that the current era of Jezebel is hot garbage.

Agreed. I got to teach Women’s Studies last fall and when I reflect back on the class, I realize I never gave out a single Jez article. 5 years ago that would not have been the case.

Similar to you, I discovered Jezebel before I knew of the other sites on GMG, but it’s the one I frequent less because of reasons similar to the ones you stated. I still like the special blogs like Would U and March Madness, but that’s about it.

Yeah, and anyone that’s ever written anything would cringe at the thought of someone carelessly paraphrasing everything you wrote/ said, even if it was meant to be supportive, which this wasn’t.

This site has reached PETA levels of absurdity. Instead of focusing on the specific occurrences that are of actual importance, and worthy of rage, vitriol and most importantly discussion, they have to go so over top on every little thing.
