Honestly, for me, no matter how “good” Oppenheimer is, I have no desire to watch a movie that depicts something so terrible because in very simple terms, I don’t want to spend money to watch something that will make me feel like shit. I feel the same way for a movie like Schindler’s List or whatever.

I’ve seen many of his other movies (some I liked and some I didn’t, I hated Blade Runner 2049 and the OG is one of my favorite moves ever), I just don’t slurp people because of their past, my personal enjoyment is based on what I’m watching/absorbing at the time not what else I watched by the same director, actor,…

I thought part 1 was dull and unimaginative and therefore have low expectations for pt. 2. Dennis essentially just upgraded the special effects and copied David Lynch’s version (practically) shot for shot.
