Mark Proksch as an Energy Vampire! Hope he’s more than just a one ep throw away character. That take and him in the role could be fun.

As someone who actually loved Man of Steel and BvS, that actually sounds pretty awesome and I’m really sad we didn’t get to see that. Especially that Green Lantern introduction sounds interesting. Also, while I get it that bashing Snyder is what is the hip, the reports indicate that Snyder was not responsible for…
This was one of the episodes where it was most noticeable and jarring that the show is intentionally unmoored in time as well as geography, not set in a specific historical era or location or place, but certainly not in the present, or in the real world
He did! It’s called MTBTL. If you’d like to hear the new jam from DKR, come to the hottest new festival......sorry, one moment.......I’m getting an update.
This thing of gleefully judging people long dead for their failure to conform to modern moral expectations is counterproductive. I don’t see the advantage to doing so. I know some on the hard left do this as part of Mao’s admonition to destroy the “four olds”. Or perhaps it is just the sad human tendency to enjoy…
Iconic director gives opinion of remake of his most iconic work.
I think I’ll just watch Until the Light Takes us again.
Ah. Gotcha. Thank you, man of 1,004 answers!
“I go back to my childhood and Luke Skywalker, the [Star Wars] farm boy who looks out at the twin suns of Tatooine and imagines his future,” he said. “Trek never gave me that. Trek was always fully formed adults.”
This guy was as dumb a kid as he is an adult. I loved Star Trek as a child. I used to watch it with my…
Seems to me their only option is to fast forward in the Kelvin timeline and see how our favorite Emissary is doing...
I think the Custodians of the Chronology opening was less of a riff on Guardians of the Galaxy and more on 80s action shows like The A-Team. I love fake credit sequences though, so this episode ruled.
Counter-point: King Kong was actually pretty good. Gorgeous to watch; fantastic Andy Serkis performance; solid rest of the cast that made their characters human but not more interesting than Kong. It was just too long. Could have been a bit tighter.
For the love of entertainment, Barsanti, stop dishing out bad takes on all of a filmmaker’s recent work whenever you have to write an article about one. His Kong is, at bare minimum, a breathtaking work of craftsmanship that doesn’t deserve to be dismissed as “crummy” by... well, certainly not by you.
Big smile on my face when the song started. Big smile on my face for a lot of the episode.
I just saw Ghost on their theater tour, before they go on their Arena tour opening up for Metallica. Holy shit, what a fantastic show. There’s costume changes, epic music, an intermission. I saw them in a 1400 person theater here in San Diego. Blew me away. Definitely the best show I’ve seen in 2018.
Cabin Boy is great and Get A Life deserved more seasons!
Just recently purchased the new BLU RAY edition, this movie is my Woodstock.
I will say, that I do appreciate how Riverdale is taking one (if not the) defining characteristics of Ethel from the comics (her obsession with Jughead) and twisting it in that trademark Riverdale way.
Also, 2/3rds of this episode’s stories could’ve been resolved (okay, so maybe not Veronica not being able to run a…
The movie is a classic. Fuck everyone else.
I was kinda disappointed that Betty whipped out that bobby pin so quickly... ;)
