I like how the only thing that Wild Dog could say to Chase was that he was gonna kill him. Then Chase insisted that Wild Dog get his report done on time!

I remember me and my friends knew this was required reading and were actually excited about it. I loved to read anyway but this was the one book that could get the attention of non-regular readers at a young age.
I read the IDW stuff but never any of the Dark Horse Angel seasons. I stopped with BTVS after the Season 9 comic.
Off topic but good a place to ask as any: Did any of this Buffy week coverage delve into the ongoing comics? I can understand why AV Club would've wanted to keep it strictly live action, though.
Not sure how intentional it was but in the dream sequence Betty is wearing a pink sweater not too different from what you see her wearing later in the episode. Dream Veronica is in purple and later out in the woods she has a fabulous purple outfit.
We know Jason was mixed up in drugs, probably the connection to why he would deal with the Serpents. FP either torched the car or the gang decided to hide the jacket with him for some reason.
I wonder if Jughead really felt like one of the People Under The Stairs or just wanted the appropriate horror reference? He also had a nightmare, too but no gloved one chased him around.
Cheryl will be a great Crazy Aunt for the little one.
When Veronica was going on about her past and her mom you could see a little bit of horror or maybe sadness mixed in with Kevin's reaction.
Betty tightening up her ponytail before going into the youth home is just her getting ready for battle.
Would Veronica have changed her mind about signing the construction contract? She could of had a change of heart after her moment with Archie at the talent show and decided to help Archie's family. Of course it doesn't matter now. Her mom was really quick to forge the signature.
This is taking place at a home he's been trying to sale for a while. Seems like it's just a way to raise money to cover the property taxes on the home.
I like Get Hurt. It's definitely a departure and I'm pretty sure the band kind of regrets it. I thought Fallon's solo album was excellent. Gaslight needs to get back to basics, though.
I don't think he's the killer. I think he stole the board to crack the case; help his or his wife's career. But breaking into the sheriff's home is pretty ballsy.
On Dark Shadows characters time traveled basically using force of will. One time Barnabas just stood in a graveyard and willed himself into the past. The show had little regard for established supernatural myths as well and was all the better for it.
I think we'll see it eventually but the show will have to explore it. The audience should discover it with Jughead. Which means we'll likely see him try the hetero life.
They can humanize him but Reggie really needs to stay Archie's rival. The two of them in literal competition was cool.
This show is packed with characters and relationships that you want to see more of each week. I'm ready for extended episodes, producer's cuts whatever you want to call it.
I thought Valerie was going to mention something about what's it like making music with Josie. She didn't go there, yet. It's not like Archie is playing in a rock band and can just figure out how to do music with some buddies.
German horror rock band The Other did a song called "Castle Rock", fun King tribute.
