I met him years ago at a horror convention. I'm a big Star Trek fan and he told me most of the fans he met at this horror con just wanted to talk about Trek. He lamented that he hadn't brought enough photos of him as Kurn or any from the DS9 episode "The Visitor."

Doesn't sound too far from what I've read. Iommi hated confrontations and Nicholls might have acted as his voice or go between at times. I wasn't sure if they were still close or not until Iommi posted about his death.

When Iommi left England to avoid taxes Nicholls followed him and basically became his right hand man. That closeness to Iommi lead to some friction between Dio and Nicholls. That's why Nicholls wasn't involved in the Heaven and Hell reunion years later.

I liked the line about the high school being built in 1941; the same year the characters debuted.

I'm on the wrong side of 30 and I'm ready for this to be my new favorite show.

For me it was The Art of Drowning they got me hooked.

Fire and Gasoline is great and his album preceding that one is cool, too but Fire and Gasoline is excellent hard rock.

with great hair and wardrobe, yes

Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man is a lot of fun. For years I dismissed this one without giving it a chance and I regret it. It's got a great supporting cast, including Giancarlo Esposito and Tom Sizemore.

I think they let a version of Superman appear on Supergirl to help with the move to CW, it boosted interest in the show to an extent (idk about any ratings but it got me to watch the show, anyway.)

I liked seeing Stein with Caitlin. They didn't mention Ronnie but obviously Stein isn't a painful reminder to Caitlin so that's nice.

I appreciate both

ok that's what I was thinking of, and I think spelling it different is better than straight up just using the name

expected this to be some rapper using the name even though it's not spelled RIKK RUUD or something

I really enjoyed Zdarsky's run on the new title. I wasn't sure about Ryan North but his first issue was hilarious. It's actually the funniest issue so far (sorry, Chip.) There's a part where the gang talks about what love means. Reggie's take on love is just about the funniest thing I've read all year.

Yes, Sage was part of Grindhouse Releasing with Bob Murawski (film editor that has worked with Sam Raimi.) They have put out some excellent Blu-Ray releases in the last few years, Sage would be proud.

I'm a huge Lance Henriksen fan and it was really nice to see him on one of my favorite shows. It was a small role but he looked great and he didn't die which is about all you can ask for sometimes.

I appreciated the Babylon 5 reference. I started a re-watch of the series earlier this year.

Fangoria already has them beat, their website is having a Greasy Week

I haven't watched anything yet but it looks like CW has their app for the Xbox 360 updated with more current episodes. For a while they were not updating the app at all, hopefully they will keep it updated this season.
