All those fancy engineers think every nut and bolt is a necessity but, if working on my own car is any indication, I could take an F1 car apart and put it back together and have at least 2 or 3 bolts left over that weren’t needed.

COTA is an FIA sanctioned track so it’s really surprising they don’t have a crane and flatbed (not necessarily a single vehicle, but a regular flatbed and a light construction crane works as well, and is what is used at most F1 races). They might even have had the setup but not close enough to pit lane to get it there…
