Sorry, but I’m from the North East of England, and I currently live in Wales, everyone I know is from a working class background, and there’s so much fucking xenophobia it’s unreal. (although funnily enough, virtually none when it comes to my age, the 18-24 bracket, which I just fit into at 24)

Lol, I’m from (near) Sunderland, I voted to stay, and I’ve just applied for several jobs at Nissan, (I’m an automotive engineer).

They could’ve waited for Porsche to come round, and limp over just behind, that would’ve secured their place. Hindsight and all that though.

You know how everyone is saying that a simple old fashioned shifter should be standard. The first auto I drove had a similar shifter to the BMW style shifter for the 8 speed, (it’s the ZF 8 speed in an Iveco Daily van, which yes, is a big Fiat van), and it’s pretty instinctive if you’re not used to the old fashioned…

That’s fair, it was the first automatic I’ve driven to be fair, I’ve driven a Mercedes after, with putting it all the way to the top. So I suppose I’ve come backwards onto it, so not fair for me to comment.

My works van has the same gearbox too, an Iveco Daily, which was developed by Fiat, and they have the button too. The buttons are great in my opinion.

I thought the same about Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England tbf, but it seems the case haha.
