Crack pipe, taking a Lotus Twin Cam out of an Elan should be punishable by death.

Not to mention their occupation of an EU member (Cyprus).

I need to buy a Clio Williams and drive around the south of France like a maniac in one in real life as well as on the game. Damn.

These don't annoy me as much as too many exhausts, which I consider more fake. I mean does a S3/Golf R really need an entire exhaust per cylinder? Two on one side is cool enough, both sides is only acceptable on a V, and even then, not a hot V.

I'm starting to wonder why more countries haven't just dropped out of this programme yet, it still keeps winning design competitions for air forces round the world and it can't do a fairly basic manoeuvre without burning to the ground? I don't understand.

I'm the same to be honest. I like them, and I'm thinking about buying an NA to turbocharge, but I don't see them as the best thing ever. Much prefer a hatchback so I can fit friends and things in the back. They definitely are plentiful over here though.

Okay, you win. I can't be bothered.

Not sure where in europe you live, there's plenty of MX-5 culture over here, they're everywhere in the UK.

What a little cutie.

Ohhh nice one up on me. I'm aware at how many people work in these R&D firms, Ford of Europe are easily capable of making Focuses and Fiestas on their own, as you know, they have done for the past 40 years. Not saying the American teams didn't help out, but if we go back to the original argument... You can hardly call

Yes I'm so ignorant I'm a motor vehicle engineer who works for an independent contractor that occasionally works for Ford.

The chassis are tuned for different markets, but the Focus and Fiesta are at least 90% developed in europe by european engineers. And third in a dead market segment is probably the worst arguement I've ever heard. It probably got beaten by the Opel Insignia and the Mazda 6 yes? I actually see them all the time, the

Wow China. Wow, such a brilliant example of a market with taste for non shit cars.

They don't sell US market cars in those places. Your argument is invalid.

It's funny you say that, because most of them cars, apart from the Fusion and Mustang, are European developed cars. And the Fusion does horrifically over here, I'm not even sure if we have the new one over here yet.

One day I hope I'm rich enough to buy a G65 then convert it to proper off road use, but with a twin-turbo V12, then daily it.

Basically a German version of the J70 Land Cruiser. I'm down with that, you can get fairly decent diesel manual G's over here in the UK already however, but they're rather old.

I'm going to start screaming racism now everytime someone calls me a Brit.

I don't see how it looks like an R8 at all?

The Mini wasn't a hatchback though. But you're right, the Golf was simply a German version of the Renault 4, when they realised that the Beetle got it wrong and Renault got it so right.
