You mean artificial turf? I think it can be done, a lot of stadiums are now at least semi synthetic, I know Wembley is. Depends on how good the turf is though at imitating grass.

Not sure if you know but "soccer" is quite a big deal on this little planet.

Why do Americans get so worried about the reliability of cars? My Renault has been broken for the past 4 years, and my sister owned for 2 of those years, neither of us gave a shit and it's done about 40,000 miles since.

You just need to see their facilities they bring to a rally to show they're a hell of a lot more serious now. They have and entire building F1 team style, but the bottom floor is a workshop for the cars!

It's only 6 cars, it's not like they're mass producing them.

Eh what, I'm 22 and I had texting 10 years ago.

I spend 9 months of the year in Swansea and I've never noticed this particular Octavia before! Probably because the entire city is full of them as taxis. I'm really not suprised in the slightest though, it is a VAG car.

Not the strangest to be fair, my Brother in Law's best friend has a LHD Lotus Omega in the UK. The lucky bastard.

Well apart from the fact I'm a Uni student and nobody would give me a loan to do such a thing.

You say that but I could import it back to the UK and easily make a profit on it.

Why did they import a RHD one though? There's plenty of LHD Lotus Omegas they could've got!

I think it probably is safety, and maybe packaging in modern cars. Just look at the Citroen C3 Pluriel, perfect example of a modern fun car, by someone who should know how to do it (Citroen), get it pretty wrong.

To be fair my Mother who is only a few years younger could daily a 930 Turbo without much bother, she's driven trickier cars with no fuss.

I know, I'm 22 and I still want the fastest car I can possible afford (which isn't much money). Back when I was searching for the Saxo my budget was under £1000, and back then it was hard to find a nice VTR for that price, I kept finding them, but at the other end of the country. I imagine it'd be quite easy to find a

Funny, they were my choices to get something decent when I was 19 too! I'm 22 now, but my choices have evolved quite a bit further thanks to my insurance prices. I'd personally stay away from the Fords and get something French. My old Ka had a great chassis but I wasn't impressed by the old prehistoric engine, and the

If it's near where any of the football teams trained or footballers lived, (I think they all live in Cheshire though), I can well imagine that being true.

Can confirm it's exactly the same in Swansea too, where I go to Uni.

See it's funny because I'm doing literally the opposite, my old (not really) French hatchback is starting to cost me money, my Renault Modus, and I just want something with space and a nice amount of power, and a 325i is cheapish to insure and cheapish to buy.

There's so many 3 series estates on the road, they look really handsome in F30 and E90 form too. Loads of Audi and Merc ones too but definitely more BMWs. In fact I'm probably going to buy an E46 325i manual because they're so common and cheap!

We still have a boring population like everywhere else, it's just they drive crossovers rather than Camrys. They are a lot of really nice cars over here still. Should've seen the cars on the road after Japfest got let out when I was driving through the South West of England from Wales on Saturday. Celica GT-Fours,
