I've been called a Civic plenty before. Especially de-badged. On ForteForums, there's someone who had a Valet mark their ticket "Honda". Not going to hunt for the pic, though.

Always said this. Some new Fords have it on all 4 windows now. If you want, I can run around for 5 minutes when I get in this afternoon and verify, but the new Fusion's upper models should have it.

Hate to say it, but the % of mustang owners that actually go drag racing, according to Ford's surveys, is around 1.5-2%.

I'd rather have plastic. They can take a rock easier. Wash your car if you don't want yellowing, salts really eat away at that UV coating.

I'l also definatly sure that nothing in the 1.0L or 1.6L range is offered in the Explorer, Taurus, or 150. Or anything of equal size.

Looks. I assume if it sells well they will put out some with larger engines, probably just testing the market. Now, weather that strategy is assbackwards or not is yet to be seen.

It's a cigarette boat, and a one-off. It doesn't have to be feasible or financially-sound.

Just wait a few months and get a Fiesta ST.

I've never seen a PT Cruiser trade for more than 5000. There may be more, nicer, PTs that I haven't seen (in fact, this is very likely), but I generally don't see these as good depreciation cars.

My last store took a 2005 JCW Mini on trade. Fun car, but the pedals were too close together for me. I was actually O.K. inside the car, being 6'3", though. By the time we were done with it (needed alignment, belts, hoses, etc.), it had over $3000 in repair orders on it. When I finally sold it, we lost our ass, big

The Mini, and I believe to a lesser extent, the Wrangler, wholy depend on the options. You can option a Mini to high hell, and they depreciate fast. The base models stay relative.

Well then they have it listed over 2 thousand more than retail. The car does not book that high with a bank, so good luck to that dealer, getting their customer financed at that $21,000 after tax and tags. Trade in is $12-13,000. Should finance somewhere around 16 if I am guessing correctly.

"Cheap" Raptor does not exist. 6.2L Engine sucks gas, parts are expensive. Needless to say, if you happen to find one with 120,000 on it, it's going to inevitably need a few things, negating the "Cheap" price you paid for it. Same goes for new Mustang 5.0s.

I've done this drive coming from Vancouver to Whistler. Absolutley one of the best roads I've ever been on. People hear me rave about it to this day.

I'm fairly certain that wind-up cars can have offset winding keys.

More people see buying a new car as more of a hastle, less of a treat. Personally, I made sure the car I bought was EXACTLY what I wanted. But then again, I am Jalop, and a little nutty about cars. Not everyone sees it that way.

If I had to guess, it had to do with time versus investment, or maybe they were worried about reselling it.
