I want to love this but I know first hand that there is nothing more expensive than a $4,000 used German car.

One of the greatest car movies to be made takes place on Christmas day...

Good tires are worth the extra money.

dyed facial hair is just about the saddest thing ever.

It’s not a movie for car enthusiasts. It skips from his first production car, the 350GT (in the movie he hates the drawings of what would actually be the prototype and it never gets built instead debuting the production version in Geneva) to selling the company to Chrysler. No Muira, no Countach (except for in a dream

1970-73 Pontiac Firebird

Those ribs carried over into the W126's early years.

If you’re looking for a really bad car movie to watch...

Billy grew up to buy a Blazer SS because he’s a Chevy guy because of Mrs. Hayes and her Nomad. It’s good.

I don’t think he has anyone in his universe who will ever tell him “no” and that’s the problem.

I’ve spent so much time in many of this generation of Caprice/Impala. My dad got a new Impala company car every two years. 1977, 1979, 1981. My grandparents had a 1980 Caprice. My stepfather had a 1980 Caprice. I inherited the 1981 Impala when my dad got a new car (he always bought out the lease of his old company

I’m gonna buy a red one and put Ferrari badging on it.

There. Fixed it.

I’ve been stalking the Buick Regal GS for a while now. Both this last generation and the one before it. They’ve really been holding on to their value if you can find one.

I saw one the other day and no, it doesn’t look better in person. It’s an unattractive vehicle that commits the sin of TRYING to look like an electric vehicle.

I used to work at this bar. It was a creepy place to be at 3am with no one else around. I always checked the back seat when getting in.

You’re not alone. I like it too.

My stepdad ordered a new 1983 Z28 with the newly optional 5-speed manual. Even though it was carborated and only put out 190 hp you could still chirp the tires in 3rd gear. That thing was really fun to drive.

I just did some reading is worth bringing up. It is only FWD but it’s also only a few hundred dollars cheaper than the Trailblazer which is available in AWD. This is their entry level car. Through that lens I have a lot more respect for it. That’s a very attractive $21k car.

It’s also only available as FWD. It’s basically a Toyota Corolla Cross competitor. You’ll see plenty of them in the rental lots. They’ll sell a ton of them.
