Credit where credit is due: Hans Zimmer didn't do the "BRAAAM", that was Zack Hemsey on the tune "Mind Heist" which was used on an early Inception trailer and heisted yer mind.
In a stellar year for animation (Kubo and the Two Strings, Zootopia, surprisingly even the sequel Finding Dory), the one that totally blew me away was The Red Turtle, which I'd advise everyone to check out when they get the chance. Definitely one of the best of 2016.

He gets it wrong about Winslet though. She's playing living person Joanna Hoffman, who moved from Poland to Buffalo, NY when she was 12, and then later in life studied at a variety of US universities. So that's the accent Kate's attempting.

I think the only Fuqua film I would recommend is Brooklyn's Finest, but it has been quite a while since I've seen it so I might be misremembering it as better than it is.
