Name anything in those films better or as good than:

It was odd that from the opening scene its kinda assumed Han’s like a Dickens’ orphan working for a crime boss, then later he starts talking about his dad.

People fucking gush over Sith though and its always baffled me. Ian Mcdiarmid’s performance is flawless tho.

Fight me Revenge of the Sith fans but Menace is the best prequel by far(its also better than Eps VII and VII), and Darth Maul is a big part of that.

Yea this a weird class of spoilers thats already spoiled. I knew about the clone wars thing but it still took me a while to remember we werent in prequel times anymore so its still kind of a big deal. Was Crimson Dawn not a thing in the EU? Its sounds familiar, as does the name Dryden Vos.

You think if this guy hasn’t heard of TB, he would have heard of whatever the hell else you were talking about?

Oh sure, I remember Steam Greenlight from my AP US History class and of course my dad would tuck me in at night with stories about the time Gearbox had a deal to release their game through G2A, pretty average childhood really.

The federal government does not need to raise taxes or cut military spending(though it should) to pay for anything. The federal government spends first and taxes later, not for funds to pay for the spending but to fight inflation, the main factor worth considering when it comes to government spending. I would almost prefer ghosts to my half asleep experience of sleep paralysis

99% of ghost sightings or any kind of paranormal thing in general could be explained by the people were in that weird state where you think you’re awake but you’re really in a kind of half sleep, that why there’s the concept of the haunted house and not the haunted restaurant or haunted office.

That can’t be a reference to Greg Cote’s Tuesdays on the dan le batard show can it?

Starwars.com says introduced in 1981 theatrical rerelease.

Correct, star wars didnt mention the episode number IV until it was rereleased in theaters several months after its opening. I don’t know for sure if the phrase “A New Hope” wasn’t in the original scroll but it may very well have not been.

What is the joke in that interaction between Hux and Ren? The only way what you just described would be even considered in the family of jokes is if Hux up until that point had played a character where it would be such a shock if they showed any violent tendency.

When they talk about the federal government having debt, theyre describing people buying treasury securities. There’s ton of things we can go into in how people generally misunderstand the significance of this but I’ll just give you a quick summary as to why this federal government debt does not have the same impact

Same on being otherwise adverse to Whedon, so much that I had forgotten he wrote it when I made the original comment. Also, we have precious few experiences with Dan Hedays, we should treasure all of them.

I mean, its no fifth element sure

Shiny compared to the previous aliens id argue

I think i might actually be a fan of rushed, disjointed storytelling.

I will never get the hatred for Resurrection. I said this in another comment but its a really successful merger of Jeunet’s bright, crisp visual style with Alien’s already established design. And it has a ton of great character actors beside the Jeunet regulars.
