They have the fireworks thing so they obviously have considered sound as a distraction but you’re right, they should have been utilizing that alot more in their daily lives. Even besides distraction, one of my first thoughts about encountering things that are super sensitive to sound would be well, what if the sound

I love both films but its hard to ignore all the cornfield stuff and just basically how the scenes with the monsters in them are filmed.

Well he has to club the water cups at the alien, which would not be my first instinct.

Was I the only one who thought that crib was a coffin and that they were going to euthanize the baby after it was born since, you know, having a baby around does kinda seem like a death sentence.

100% thought of Truck Driving Neighbors when i heard that line too

He was great in Volunteers

There are people that don’t hate slam poetry?

Interesting about their silence on the collab.

Talisman, like Illuminatus! Trilogy, is one of those collaborations where I cannot for the life of me figure out what the second person, Straub and Shea, could have contributed. I just see King on every page of Talisman. Its also his best work imo.

If its so clear cut, then why wouldent Chase just say it? Obviously he meant it to be ambiguous. Inasmuch as it makes any sense to guess what happened to fictional characters, I just don’t get the absolute certainty the Tony dies people have about it.

I deny it! A bunch of dumb easter eggs does not a plot point make. I contend the point of the final shot is that Tony never knows when its going to come and I think thats that Chase means by its all right there,  as in there’s nothing else to assume. If Sopranos was a documentary then yes I’d agree that Tony will/has

Alot of these laws about how people dressed, like the one talked in this article, and sumptuary laws, seem ridiculous but in a way they were kind of  a reaction to something we take very seriously now which is identity theft and fraud. You literally could just pretend to be anybody you wanted and how the hell were

“Dinosaurs are four eight-year-olds,”

Oh ok, is there a part of it you want to debate though?
