Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the game SMB2 was based on, was itself originally created to be SMB2, So its almost like a reskin of a reskin.

Someone below said what I think is the only actual reason, that its going to show that he's not worth that much on paper. The only other reason for withholding it is just to annoy people and eventually release it to no controversy just to take the wind out of his critics sails.

Blade Runner is one of those rare properties that has existed in multiple mediums and are unique yet I love them all. I'm a huge Nolan fan mostly in part that his aesthetics are very sleek and visually positive for me though strangely I find Memento, clearly one of his more beloved films, one of the ugliest films I've ever seen. Everything about it is drabby in a way that's really off putting.
