…Shan't Back Down…

Have you ever recommended the book to him?

If they actually did this in the movie, I'd be first on line.

I listened to Scott's commentary for MAN ON FIRE yesterday.  It was a little weird to hear him talk about working on Creasy's attempted suicide scene.  No clues as to why Scott himself did it, but I suppose if he had long-standing depression or suicidal urges he probably wouldn't have talked about it on a DVD

You're cute.  Tell me, was 1999 the year you graduated from kindergarten or the year your mother shat you out?  Or are you merely the 1999th person with the misfortune to be named "MikeMartz?"

Fuck, did TAKEN really come out three years ago?  When I was a kid, a month seemed like a year, now it's the other way around.

I guess I'll see this eventually, but I'll be honest - I haven't looked forward to a Scorsese film less since KUNDUN (which turned out to be OK albeit utterly forgettable except for the fact that it was OK).

"it was OK for a moviegoer not to understand what was said at times, as long as the overall idea was conveyed. "

You first.

I was an intern on the PLEASE HAMMER DON'T HURT 'EM video!  My first task was to clean used condoms out of the gutter.  It went downhill from there.
