It seems to me like it is counterproductive to have police internal investigations be police. Police are just too tight knit of a community to properly, well, police themselves. And from the events visible to the public, it seems that they tend not to.

"It's been established that sleep deprivation is bad for your health, but scientists have discovered another fun side effect: It leads to more 'deviant behavior."

It's a cool idea in theory, but implementation would be so intensely hard. Before you even get to all of the madness that will be actually raising and lowering prices for people, just finding the metrics to represent when someone is a "good player/community member" will be intense.

I loved the Snake-Men toys. That purple dude in the back was my absolute favorite He-Man toy.

But think what happens when people try to recreate other art. It's decent at best or utter trash at worst. Most likely it's just blase. Blade Runner was amazing because so much extra was brought into the story. I'd think that, by now, the nerd community has seen enough of the horror of "faithful" recreations

"Even if Jodorowsky's Dune was going to be an unmitigated train wreck..."

Reads article. Looks down. Looks at clock... *sigh*

As far as Square-Enix, games like DeusEx and Tomb Raider aren't made to look like Western games; they are Western games from Western development studios. Square is just the publisher.

No problem at all. I've certainly done the same thing... repeatedly...

"-K-now that these little fungi have been discovered"

I don't think I've seen a picture of Angelina Jolie looking like she was having fun-fun for years. I literally didn't recognize her and assumed it was some stock photo of Jack Black being weird until I noticed Dustin Hoffman over there (I am super tired, so my brain is a little slow on the uptake). She looks... nice.

You don't have to talk about sex to tell your children that it's a penis...

lol. Seriously.

It's definitely true that the maps don't support the system as fully as they should (especially when it comes to Z axis play; it should feature much more prominently with the whole SMART system thing).

I have been up all night, finishing up some work, and hating life. But that video. That video is amazing. I think I must have watched it 10 times. I wish I had one of those nutrigrain bars right now. Or maybe a lot of drugs. One of them.

"And in later shows, the kids were their own digimon. Which is stupid."

Sleepy gun monkey?

Yeah, I thought that was pretty dumb too. They get realistic with tatts and scars but you can change your weight and SKELETAL STRUCTURE at a whim? Weird.

I actually had a decently good time playing against bots as long as I had human allies. My big problem is that the computer allies are complete twits who are never where they need to be so it was almost always me versus everyone on the enemy team.

Nice. Now you just have to go back and check out some of that awesome Tim Baker Doctor from the 60's...
