On a side note, I'm really loving the game so far for some of the reasons you noted. I knew it was going to be a hard game but that comes with the RPGs of the time. One way it was put that I saw somewhere is because you're a kid you never feel safe so the game always has that constant difficulty.

Cool. I might dive back into this now. The problems it fixed weren't a deal breaker for me I just got the feeling that I didn't want to play it, I was bored, or just over high fantasy for a time.

Princess Mononoke was the first Ghibli film I saw so it has a special place in my heart. My girlfriend loves Totoro so that's fun to watch with her too.
