That guy was actually tried to attack the driver. I believe he should be the one to get the harsher sentence, as his behavior made the driver panic and lose control.

Turks are furious because of the fact that Russia bombed the border areas, which are based in their trained militants. Remember the news recently on Yahoo where militant shot Russian pilots attended the funeral in Turkey? Militants safely cross the border of Turkey to take a break and go back to Syria to fight.

Turkey’s Erdogan has done this tactic before - of trying to put up a false enemy in order to rally Turks behind him. He did it with the Kurds, and now Russia is his new straw man.

I’m not a big fan of Turkey and their role in NATO, but we should not under estimate Turkey’s military power. They could put the smackdown on Russian forces in the area if they needed to.

What do they have to gain if they get another plane shot down? I’m doubtful the Russians would try to attack a NATO country.
