It's probably more personal preference than anything. I've seen the first seasons of both. I thought the overall story for Wynona was tighter and the lead actors were stronger. I get the point about Dark Matter coming on strong late though.

I think it's better than Dark Matter, way better than Killjoys, not nearly as good as The Expanse.
