It takes a few moments to complete the shift out of “Tired Adult” to “Enthusiastic Mother”.

I actually prefer Punisher randomly appearing in things. I think the character does best as a wrecking ball, a borderline antagonist as he did in Daredevil. I’m hopeful his Netflix show will prove me wrong, as there are good Punisher arcs to focus on.

Not a missed opportunity: the guts to actually commit to the world they made, in which the only way to deal with him was to kill him the first chance you got. They explored how it would go to not kill him, and the whole show established that there was no moral excuse to not end him.
