What if I told you the initial protagonist in LoU2 lives through the story and everything you've been arguing about in this thread is based on an incorrect assumption?

Get fucked. That isn’t what anybody’s complaining about and you know it.
That sounds even worse. You mean to tell me they’re going to try to wrap up a new character’s story arc in less than 30% of the game? Can you think of any other story in history that’s done that successfully?
The story doesn’t work on any level. There’s a reason why you don’t switch perspectives to another character at the midpoint. How do you finish a protagonist’s character arc when the end of the story is about someone else entirely?
You hit the nail on the head. When the guy mentioned that the models had been imported directly from Zbrush, my jaw hit the floor. To me, this is one of the biggest technological advances in real-time computer graphics in almost 20 years.
Absolutely incredible. Every single one of these speaks to me on a personal level. The subtle monochrome coloring. The tasteful thickness of them. Oh, my god! That one even has a watermark.
As do all the other minigames in FF7R.
You think a person who named themselves “durpa durp durpity” sounds like an idiot?
Hard rock, not heavy metal. It’s an important distinction to make.
Yes, but Carentan. (It’s a town in France.)
But DOOM has been playable at 60 fps through source ports for years...
“Is this an out-of-season April Fool's joke?"
No, that’s what YOU think is going on.
Yes and yes, though they’re not supposed to. They’re meant to be seen as equipment, and part of the process of being put in the jar is that they stop growing. But if the BB forms a bond with the user, they begin to form memories and get larger, which causes them to malfunction (because they lose their connection to…
Gods be damned, that was beautifully said.
Imagine if the pictures in a book didn’t correlate to the text. Like, you had The Cat in the Hat but all the pictures were of model trains. Hahaha!
What’s the nuance? Can you explain it? Because all I hear are people crying, "Look, guys, there is TOTALLY some nuance in here, promise! TRUST me!"
Been watching the cutscenes on YouTube and no. That "nuance" you speak of isn't anywhere to be seen.
Is it possible to convey a standing ovation through text alone? I haven’t found a way yet, but as soon as I do, you're getting one. That was phenomenal.
Shaq Fu, though, right? After 380 hours, it becomes the greatest fighting game of all time. You just have to choose to seek out the unknown.
