When you will stop talking about the Force as a super power and start talking about it as an allegory for morality and behavior?

It’s hard to read it as just Osha’s perspective when there is zero setup for that and there are plenty of scenes that Osha was never a part of. So it’s not surprising if some don’t see it that way.

I get that Mae is a pre-adolescent and they do dumb stuff, but “I can't live without you so I will kill you for leaving” seems illogical even for an 11 year old.

Bingo. I’m not for a moment suggesting the fire killed the witches.

I know everybody in Hollywood has a big head, but come on man, the studio canceled the entire project, not just you! And a year later, he was in the animated show as....SUPERMAN...

Easy to see a pattern when you create it. Or have you forgotten the discourse around:

I mean, just from the clip above, I can tell you this isn’t the case. Sure, it doesn’t look great, but it doesn’t look In the Name of the King: A Dugeon Siege Tale bad.

It’s also a vehicle where you need a star who is willing to go into this with the mindset that it's more entertaining if not all the deaths are with dignity. I think of the various "I have a clause in my contract that says I can never lose a fight" actors who could never make a movie like this work the way Tom dives

I would argue that Jaws and The Godfather significantly improve on their source material. The Prestige also works a lot better for me without the modern day framing sequences from the book, and giving the duplication machine real consequences.

Just to be clear I think these people saying the show is woke and bad are idiots.

There’s fire in space in the original movie. These people are so exhausting.

Yeah, I’m convinced the people that are complaining know nothing about Star Wars, probably never watched it, or just watch it casually. I’ve seen some bad opinions from people I used to respect, unfortunately. They were calling out things that have always been in Star Wars. One person even said the Jedi’s were mind-rap

I think Annihilation is very different from the book and yet it captures the tone of the books just about perfectly.

I thought Amazon’s adaptation of William Gibson’s The Peripheral (RIP) was amazing. Very different from the novel in a lot of ways but the changes made sense for the new medium while leaving the heart of the story (the characters, the relationships) largely unchanged.

Hey Cunt, look into who Garth Ennis actually is, and what his views on fascism and related topics are.

we get to the people raging about how “woke” it is but unable to point to anything specific

Lol you are wrong and the worst

I’m so sorry that my personal enjoyment of something has bothered you.

I truly didn’t know there was anyone left who thought online aggregate scores meant anything in the post-brigading age.

RT, Metacritic, and the rest were review-bombed by trolls like yourself.
