That’s part of the issue. The Isu language isn’t a substitution cypher. It has at least 38 different letters that have so far been identified and it’s own grammar and syntax based on reconstructions of Proto-Indo-European. It’s a full conlang like Tolkien’s Elvish. Valhalla provided some Isu text with translations and

“Hey new guy, glad to have you on the team - today you’re gonna be installing plumbing.”

Cameron Britton :D

She was one of the main two reasons I was pissed about Mindhunter being axed (Holt McCallany being the other).

There’s a novel, The Girl with All the Gifts, that came out about a year after the game and has a ton of similarities to The Last of Us: cordyceps mutation zombifies most people, one immune girl emerges, and a convoy has to take her across England to hopefully reach a place where she can be studied to find a cure. Doesn’t seem to be much circling tables excessively and doubling back on empty shelves in case they come across random screws or pills. Starting to doubt their commitment to the source material.

They felt like very short sketches this week, which was good and bad.”

They nailed it so much there was no longer a need for a Superman. Evans was perfect casting the way Christopher Reeve was back in the day and filled the same shoes culturally.

I’m a big fan of Nicholas Hoult but I can’t see him as Superman. He’s tall, but he’s way too lean.

No shit. Nothing to do with after-the-fact statements to the press about how they totally would have won in a trial that isn’t happening.

as a college student I don’t have a lot of free time.

Absolutely nothing whatsoever bars an attorney from saying “no comment” or not releasing a statement at all.  This statement wasn’t a zealous defense, it was an unnecessary and execrable piece of horseshit.

Its controversial in the way Civil Rights was considered controversial in the 1950s.  It was, and the fact this was controversial is terribly depressing.

I realize I am in the minority, but I can’t stand GTA online. For me, the game is the single player story. Those who feel like I do were let down by Rockstar because they added nothing to the single player experience.

I guess that’s where the money is, but playing GTA Online was one of the worst experiences I have had

I loved the physicality she brought to Haywired, but I could never understand how Soderbergh could be that much of a genius directing actors that he made her look good. Than I read the rumors that all her scenes were dubbed in post by Laura San Giacomo and it all made sense.

It’s remarkable how many performers did their best work by far in a Soderbergh movie.

This article is hilarious. “Even if it was her playing the cue music, it’s highly unlikely Flower would be calling the shots when it comes to how long the winners were allotted for their speech.” “Highly unlikely”? You mean they don’t let the piano players produce the show on the fly?

But, if they have a nine month long wait list, they are doing as many covers a night as the space allows. Therefore they ARE rolling in it ... unless he opened in a stupidly expensive space. In which case, see the comment above regarding his poor ability to run a business.

So the choices for Word of the Year were part of a word or two words...

If it was directed by some no-name studio hack, sure. But Gerwig’s involvement means it’s at least worth a look.
