In this case, I think you’re ignoring a bit of the complexity.

I realize I am in the minority, but I can’t stand GTA online. For me, the game is the single player story. Those who feel like I do were let down by Rockstar because they added nothing to the single player experience.

I guess that’s where the money is, but playing GTA Online was one of the worst experiences I have had

I loved the physicality she brought to Haywired, but I could never understand how Soderbergh could be that much of a genius directing actors that he made her look good. Than I read the rumors that all her scenes were dubbed in post by Laura San Giacomo and it all made sense.

It’s remarkable how many performers did their best work by far in a Soderbergh movie.

Yea, so, um....when you almost completely disband your staff, including, but not limited to, Accounts Payable, Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, R&D, and Content Moderation, expect bad things to happen.

I may be wrong, but if a CEO lays off critical staff (i.e. invoice fulfillment and payroll) and makes decisions that cuts off main revenue sources, they do have a hand in this. The article also states that this behavior of not paying rent is specifically per the instruction of Musk.

Here is the Truth About James Cameron:

Is that so weird, really? Were the movies you were going to the cinema five years ago the same movies you were going to the cinema 15 years ago?

I saw the original in 3D, mostly out curiosity and I was not blown away. I would not have gone back and seen it in 3D again.

Buying a ticket is not the true measure though. I saw Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in 3D but I was selective about what time I could see it, not the format I saw it in.  Given the option, I would not have opted for 3D and I’m guessing I’m not completely unique.  What the theaters offer and when are going to skew

I’ve got a lot of blowback for saying I plan to go see Avatar 2 in normal 2D, as I do every movie. I only go for 3D for scheduling reasons. A lot of people are telling that this movie is pure spectacle, and it needs to be enjoy in IMAX 3D.

Well, you do have to get off your ass to go to the theater, I think that’s all he was saying. But sure, make your funny headline.

That is what I suspected about The Wandering Earth 2. Nothing in that trailer even remotely reflected the conditions on Earth that were shown in The Wandering Earth (2019). As well as the fact that the “enormous engines” had already been built and were active in that movie.

The sequel (Wandering Earth II) is actually a prequel to the original movie which is what makes it confusing.

This article is hilarious. “Even if it was her playing the cue music, it’s highly unlikely Flower would be calling the shots when it comes to how long the winners were allotted for their speech.” “Highly unlikely”? You mean they don’t let the piano players produce the show on the fly?

But, if they have a nine month long wait list, they are doing as many covers a night as the space allows. Therefore they ARE rolling in it ... unless he opened in a stupidly expensive space. In which case, see the comment above regarding his poor ability to run a business.

This is a non-starter without John Woo.

Yeah, I took it that 3 was coming out no matter what, but that the box office success of Way of Water would determine if 4 and 5 got made.

So the choices for Word of the Year were part of a word or two words...

If it was directed by some no-name studio hack, sure. But Gerwig’s involvement means it’s at least worth a look.
