Shoes for adults who want to broadcast their love for the show on their footwear, but also don’t want anyone to know they’re doing it? I’d think the market for ones plastered in logos would actually be considerably bigger than that.

Isn’t the difference that the politician is refusing to admit that it happened and/or was bad? Like, if he just came out and said “I was young and stupid. I should’ve known better, but I didn’t. I do now. I’m sorry.” maybe there would be fewer calls for his resignation.

I’m going with the chances being high. Very high.

“If they wanted to make an edgy, nihilistic sci-fi show, they should have done an original one.”

I haven’t seen this episode yet, but how about because it’s a show with all the tools to be really damn good, but is constantly undermining itself with dumb plot choices? When something is thisclose to being great, it makes the flaws all the more infuriating.

I don’t think it’s that naive. I mean, have you never been surprised to find out something you should have already known? When it’s an open secret thateveryone” already knows, people stop getting told about it.

I bought myself a PSVR over the holidays. Holy shit, the resolution is disappointing. And warp-to-move/turning-in-steps/look-to-aim are horrible — somehow worse than the motion sickness of switching to standard controls.

For what it’s worth, he and Bad Robot have overseen the rejuvenation of the Mission: Impossible franchise.

It had one of the best ensemble casts of any film in recent memory. And there ends all the positive things I can say about it.

It’s more that there’s a clear and theoretically traversable ladder leading from the amateur league you might play in on Sundays, all the way up to the top level of the professional game.

Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age 2’s railroaded finales were just poorly handled rather than proof that you can’t avoid invalidating player choices in these sorts of games. If it was important for the future of the franchise that Dragon Age 2 ended with both Meredith and Orsino dead and the Mage/Templar conflict kicking

Rogue Nation is definitely better than Fallout (hell, I don’t think there’s a modern Hollywood action film that comes close to competing with Rogue Nation), but I liked that Fallout didn’t feel beholden to the series’ formula. Let’s not forget it was the sixth entry... even with all the director switching up to that

It doesn’t need to be “in your face”, I did specifically mention having it come up naturally.

We took Piers Morgan back... what more could you possibly want?

Because it’s not true representation unless it’s clear in the primary media where it can’t easily be ignored or retroactively rewritten. I mean, I get that a multiplayer shooter isn’t the best place for that sort of confirmation to come up naturally, and if real representation was more commonplace this would be fine. B

I think the problem with WGA awards is that only WGA members are eligible, and while that covers most of the films you’d expect (you have little choice but to sign up if you want to work in Hollywood), only a tiny fraction of video game writers bother to join.

From the accounts I read, it was less an innate distrust of someone because they identified as a woman (not that that doesn’t happen), and more that his invented persona was incredibly suspicious. I’m probably being naive, but as any woman trying to break in won’t need to disguise the fact that they’re really a man

if she’d ceased menstruating due to coma/weight, how was she able to become pregnant in the first place?

Yeah, the Kid Loki run of Journey Into Mystery is almost great, except that the first half has huge narrative holes where he’s awkwardly trying to write around the events of Fear Itself and the second half is kind of thrown out of whack by crossovers with New Mutants and Matt Fraction’s Thor.
