Absolutely. Card decisions are almost always based on the intensity of the game and judgement of intent. The officials on the field have a much better perception of any of that and whether or not an aggressive tackle warrants a caution... often times, they will forego a second booking on a second cautionable offense…

In Brock’s defense, O’Brien’s spread offense is only taking off now that he has a natural spread QB in the mix. Everyone else he tried was similar trash (Savage, Hoyer, Mallett, Fitz, Keenum) that struggled to pick it up. All those guys got second chances (and some more!) so maybe Brock rebounds.
