So, I admittedly have no desire to read (or see) Fifty Shades. From what I have heard, it is extremely poorly written, and is a shallow and misguided interpretation of the BDSM community, among countless other critiques. I am not really into erotica anyway, my reality and my imagination give me plenty (often too much)

Baseball butts are the best butts.

Well, from my very scientific study of 50 or so men of varying nationalities (and varying biceps, asses, eyes and penises) over the past 15 years, I can say that this sample of men liked the hourglass figure for at least one night. My very selfless contribution to science. You're welcome.

I have found similar patterns living abroad (although NYC for me, was pretty horrible). It is hard to gauge the appropriate response per the culture of the "catcaller." For example, in Paris (lots of North Africans in my neighborhood), I learned to not say a word back or look at them because my accent would give me

Oh man, my 12 year old mind sometimes. Utterly stunned by all the bat-shit crazy, barbaric things sprouting from this man's lips....but yet I still giggle and think, 'he said doody.'

Wait, wait, wait....I have been told that European conservatism is basically akin to a hippie vegan solar-energy powered atheist commune in the US?!?!?!?!
But seriously, this headline made my heart sink, and and I fear for our country's future if this is happening in Europe.

Seriously? What the actual bible-thumping fuck, SC? As an instructor (PhD Student) of a particularly progressive social science at the University of South Carolina, I hope the legislature doesn't look at the literature we assign. They would probably burn down our department.

Thank you.

Can someone explain to me why the Greek system still exists at institutions of higher education? It seems to just encourage atrocious behavior. There were no frats or sororities at my college and we all somehow figured out how to socialize and 'give back' to the community on our own. After teaching at two Universities

I like it. Reminds me of an an updated version of the Groove is in the Heart video. Just with some added ethereal, yet simultaneously slammin', booty swag.

It's a nice ass (fake or not). I just feel bad because based on her Instagrams, it seems like she has no friends : ( Not a single picture of her with another human. But who has time for friends when you are taking ass-selfies in every single corner of Manhattan, I guess??

Fair enough, and of course training will lead to eventual success - if pull-ups are your thing : ) But as I said to somebody else, what I think it shows is that all things being equal certain body types, and men apparently, are at an advantage. Just interesting to consider, I guess.

Funny, cause I remember doing those physical fitness tests as a kid, and I was a soccer player, average height and built very 'sturdily.' I would do well on everything until the damn pull-ups, and I was so jealous of all the tiny gymnast girls who could do like 30. I think I'm still jealous : ) (Same with the girls

I see the authors point, because of COURSE training will help in one's quest to do pull-ups, and of COURSE there are heaps of women who can do pull-ups, but what this study suggests, I think, is that certain frames, and yes a certain sex, have advantages for this particular fitness 'test'.
We can hear anecdotal

Science has looked into this phenomenon, and the ability to do pull-ups is more than just 'training.' People who can easily do pull-ups have "a combination of strength, low body fat and shorter stature." It is not really a good indicator of overall fitness, and many extremely fit people (men and women) will have

You were clearly born after 1990 : )

No, read it again, she is saying that black women are less likely to be infected by the strains covered by current vaccines - that is, black women are more often infected by strains not covered by the current vaccines...it is a bit confusing at first glance, though!
