This is embarrassing...

I believe he’s British and that’s the correct spelling.

Well, that’s the calculated risk anyone who decides to use another companies tools and IP to make an unofficial remake of something takes.

TBH, I'd rather have a Morrowind remake. Oblivion didn't do much for me.

Uhhh... care to give that another go? You missed a few zeros.

I would hate for them to buy Nintendo. First of all, "their success lies off their hardware" means they would kill the Switch and move things onto Xbox. Second of all, no I can't argue this anymore it's just too awful to consider

This is exactly how i feel. It's like everyone intentionally misinterpreted the quote !

Everyone’s got such a hate boner for BGS lately. I can’t be the only one that loves their unique brand of gameplay experience left, but you’d never know from reading these comments. I read into this as you’re going to enjoy the game no matter how you approach it. He said he got sucked into the main story and played it

…it also kinda makes me wonder where the value for Microsoft is in the entire deal now.

“They arrived shortly after Ocarina of Time, and mark the end of the series’ classic 2D structure of exploring an dense map and fighting through individually themed dungeons”

I’m glad Bungie won, but i do hope this guy also gets some mental health help because this went way further then just some “simple” online harassment. I feel like this guy has some serious mental health issues and needs serious help if he wants to become a normal functioning human being again.

Microsoft did nothing wrong with IE in terms of giving it away. The problem was entirely that Nutscrape threw a temper tantrum and started using every penny they had to sue rather than compete and make their browser worth paying for.

Do you carry the same energy for all of the exclusives held by Sony and Nintendo that have never seen the light of day on either PC or an Xbox console? If you don’t, then you’re being rather hypocritical, as even though CoD is a big seller, both Sony and Nintendo have exclusives that have sold in the tens of millions

It was the only play they had.

If they focused on the broader centralization of IPs and console exclusives, Microsoft could and would easily hit back and show that Sony’s exclusives have been conclusively outselling Microsoft’s, dating all the way back to the PS2/Xbox era.

There’s also the reality that Microsoft would

Microsoft promised to bring Call of Duty to Nintendo platforms.

Activision Blizzard isn’t available for streaming. Microsoft entered into an agreement with Nvidia to bring Microsoft + AB (provided deal goes through) games to GeForce Now. That opens up access to people who may not have it otherwise.

BUT NO GIRL I KNOW OWNS ONE!

you do know there was a time when game developers were semi-anonymous and not required to submit their personal lives to public accountability, right? do you think that’s normal, and should be expected of every artist?

One of my friend’s teams was actively harassed by a power player because they wouldn’t make a non-vr version of their vr game for their friends without VR headsets. That may work for some games, but if you knew which game I was referring to, you’d go “how the hell would the non-vr version work?”

My favorite is “I want a feature that requires rebuilding the game from the ground up. Yeah, I liked the game as it was, but I’m not going to recommend it unless you completely remake it so that my friends and I can do this one thing we like in a totally different game that you didn’t make.”
