It’s a free society, and people can design their stuff how ever they want. People can then be free to tell them they think it sucks the way they designed it. It goes both ways.

Loot boxes, no, but micro-transactions, to a degree are in many Nintendo titles.

Nobody says “the poor don’t deserve [healthcare]”. They say socialized medicine impedes innovation in medical care and treatments and stifles individualized, doctor curated treatment plans in favor of bureaucratic treatment guidelines.

Not sure I get all the fuss over this stuff... My biggest gripe would be wanting to tune into a stream for something and finding out it was clearly just a stream about scantly clad women. Truth in advertising is all I would ask for.

So... I came into this piece thinking it was going to be another commentary on how a company isn’t being “woke” or at least isn’t doing “wokeness” the right way or whatever, but was instead treated to something much more poignant. And I can’t say enough about how much I agree with your take.

How many police interactions are there in a day? How many of those result in the narrative of a bad person being a bad cop doing bad things? Hint: less than 0.001%.

Yeah, you’re so missing the point. People are being shamed into not supporting them. It isn’t some free market choice at all. It’s a form of social conformity, a form of fascist thought control, being used to over regulate markets.

How about, people who have an opinion or viewpoint share it if they want, and those who don’t have those opinions or viewpoints not be PC shamed for not sharing.

For instance, they should transition to solely online-orders where customers can still come to the store to pick up but not browse. They just set up an area at the very front to greet and transact with the customer to

I don’t know. I’m actually old, and SNES vs. Genesis was a real thing when I was in highschool. You got SEGA for sports games and mortal kombat and Nintendo for cool platformers. Everyone played games, and the rivalry was real.

Damn, I went through all these comments waiting to see if someone would mention this game. You guys got it.

If an elevator could feasibly, economically, be put into Mount Everest, there would already be a viewing platform and a yogurt shop at the peak and 10,000 tourists a day, because it would be done already.

No, stairs and ramps take everyone to the same place.   In this case, a easier difficulty setting and a harder difficulty setting take gamers to the same place.   One uses the ramp, the other the stairs.

Wait, the inclusion of a game mode buried in an option menu somewhere that you never have to turn on, let alone acknowledge, somehow is going to make the game “less enjoyable”. Maybe I’m dense, but how is that possible?

I haven’t read most of your comments yet. I was on the fence and now...
