The most recent episode of SNL featured sketches based around Beavis and Butthead and Erin Brockovich, so HP most certainly is not too outdated for them to tackle.

She definitely believes that it’s a noble cause. That’s the whole foundation of the TERF ideology; they think the existence of trans people is a direct affront to cis women and traditional feminism (2nd wave in particular).
Robert Pattinson and Elijah Wood have done the same thing. Hell, I even forget that R-Pattz was in Twilight sometimes because I associate him way more closely with weird indies now than a major franchise.
Gearheads and thinly veiling their bigotry by calling anything made in Asia terrible, name a more perfect duo.
I rented a Tesla from Hertz back in March. They sent me a bunch of videos and tutorials via email that showed how everything worked on the car after I reserved it. Hertz even has their own EV hub on their website that has not only tutorials but trip planners with recommended charging spots on the route. Charging one…
You’ll easily blow past that if you get your tires changed at a dealership. The last time I got my oil changed at my Mazda dealership, they recommended a tire replacement at a quoted price of $1320.
If you came into work and there was a massive chili stain on the floor, and one of your coworkers was absolutely covered in it, would you then eat that chili later in the day?
Season 4 slightly edges out 3 for me. It’s just banger after banger with very few missteps. The only episodes I’d truly say that I dislike from season 4 are Homer’s Triple Bypass—way too maudlin for my tastes—and the clip show, which honestly isn’t even all that bad, as far as those sorts of things go.
I don’t subscribe to the whole “cinema is dying” nonsense, but the fact that even indie horror movies can’t escape the “cinematic universe” virus certainly gives me pause. Remember when movies were just self-contained stories and not reliant on you having seen a dozen other movies to understand them?
This, but unironically. When we’re truly in the shit during his (inevitable) next term, I think we’re going to be pretty ashamed of all the time we wasted making inane “orange man bad” jokes and the subsequent refusal to engage with him in any meaningful way. Plus all the overdone jokes about his weight and small…
I’m sure all the Iraqi orphans are so happy to hear their suffering wasn’t in vain because we had a really funny cable show for a few years
This is supposed to be the best cast members of the 2000s, but 9 of them started in the 90s, including 3 who barely appeared in the 2000s at all? That makes sense. I always say Futurama is my favorite show from the 90s because it premiered on Dec 31, 1999 /s
Literally everything is a spoiler now according to the internet. Even the very suggestion that a film has an unexpected plot point is a spoiler.
I will never watch anything with Adam Pally in it after his disastrous After Midnight appearance. He totally ruined Ron Funchess’ triumphant return with his repeated failed attempts at meta humor that derailed the whole fucking show. This was my first encounter with him and he struck me as the smarmiest, tryhard-est,…
Your first mistake is looking at modern box office numbers because they completely overlook streaming. Yeah, no shit fewer people are seeing movies in theaters now.
This is some ridiculous rose-colored glasses nonsense. Find me one single week at any point in the history of film in which 8 films were released from directors whose names you know at all, much less ones who are “incredible.”
You’re conflating the decline of movie theaters with the decline of the film industry in general. You simply can’t get a feel for what people are watching just from box office numbers anymore. Go look at the dozens of movies released in the past few years with over 100 million streams on Netflix.
It is incredibly bizarre to see someone comment on a pop culture website that they don’t watch movies
Mila Kunis is only the second voice actor for Meg. She took over after Lacey Chabert starting in season 3 and has done it since.
I’m super excited. I paid for a VPN to watch the coverage from the 2012 games on the BBC’s website, which also had every event, and it was fucking amazing. Haven’t been able to get the same experience since. I’m not all that interested in swimming, gymnastics, and the other “primetime” sports, but I love the obscure…
