Why can't I watch both? I do.

For a guy who spent 50% this article bitching at eurosnobs you spend 100% of the article acting like one.

Well, see ya. Consider yourself un-guilted.

Now playing

Yeah those MLSers with no ball control skills:

Yep, I am a huge asshole for going to MLS games and rooting for the Crew and haiving fun since they aren't the best team. Could you do a similar article about being a Browns fan?

Dude bashes MLS because it's not Arsenalesque or Messi-esque, then asks why Michael Bradley didn't decide to play for the footballing paradise of... Sunderland.

Fair enough. But I'll be at Rio Tinto Stadium in July cheering on Real Salt Lake, singing the "Believe" chant, holding my scarf in the air. Yeah, I didn't like the name at first, but it grew on me, because it's my local team and the games are a blast to attend.

Hmmm...trying to find a way to properly capture this whole thing. There's some brutal honesty (quality, quality, quality), and then there's just straight bashing.

But, being serious, the premise of this article, to me at least, is flawed. And yes, I realize the hook is firmly in my cheek, but still.

There has to be a more effective way of convincing readers that "nobody cares" about something than writing a metric fuckton of words about it. It almost makes me think that people do care, and it really bothers the author.

There's a ton I don't like about MLS. But I'm still a fan of my local team.

I don't understand what the point of this (excessively long) piece is. Admittedly, I did not read all of this because I'm not all that interested, but is the point that MLS isn't as good as the Euro leagues? Because honestly, you should give yourself a hearty pat on the back for that stunning observation. MLS isn't

but how often do we see passages like these two Arsenal goals? Are there even times where inventive one-touch passing like that gets a guy in scoring position before he misses the chance? And how about anything like Messi here, one man completely shredding an entire defense? Not so much, eh?

from a better article:

Maybe he just thought that Del Bosque was Scolari inviting him to join Brazil.

Such a bland uniform. Nike chose a terrible time to disappoint the US fan base. Can we please make the centennial badge the sole badge for US soccer?

I don't know why they haven't stuck with the awesome hooped jersey.

Ugh. Why don't with just stick with the red and white striped tops. They are the best kits the usmnt has had in years.
