I can’t wait to see Chopper in live action!

AND Luke has to run out of power converters, so he has a reason to visit Toshi station!

I’m glad I watched it when I did, just a couple weeks after it released. I thought it was a pretty decent modern analog to classics like The Goonies (although nothing can top that classic) and Sixteen Candles. Short, sweet, sad, a little poignant, good budget special effects, and a likeable cast. Really shameful that

Calling it now. Next game will have a force challenge room that as you enter, we see “Spawn of Rick” standing among the carcasses of Oggo, a Rancor, and the newest big enemy to face.

I am 50/50 on whether it will be another “joke” fight for a one hit kill, or they truly make him the monster boss that everyone deserves

I genuinely think the underperformance of Elemental might lead for them to consider some options. I think they could clean up on 2-day rentals and honestly if it was a great movie kids would be asking to rent it over and over again. I also think they can uncouple it from a D+ subscription or give a D+ discount and

If this movie had only cost $150m to make, this wouldn’t even be a disappointing opener. It wouldn’t have been a wild success, but probably would have coasted to profitability eventually. It seems a decent chunk was spent on the de-aging process. They should have just hired Alden Ehrenreich to do the flashback scene.

It could be entirely Disney characters and it would still be a FF spin-off. It’s very classic Final Fantasy in a way that the FF series proper has long forsaken. Attack, Magic, Items.

I don’t care that it’s SaGa game in Japan, FF Legends is a FF spin-off and Final Fantasy Legends II is fantastic.

“Get in the Eikon, Clive.”

Not to mention Ifrit shares a resemblence to Hideaki’s Shin Godzilla as well. His snout and tail in particular :)

That Eva episode is pretty much exactly what I thought of during that scene.

I’d like to live in a world where we ignore misogynists. I can only imagine it is not the majority of gamers that are upset and just a small percentage of basement dwelling cave trolls. We need to stop giving them the attention they so desperately crave

Yes on both accounts. They’re both Jedi and they’re both survivors. Just because Dagan was stuck in a bacta tank doesn’t make him any less of a survivor. The other character did things in order to survive and that involved hiding who he was more than Cal did. I’m not sure why the distinction matters when they both

If you haven’t played the game yet, spoiler warning...

Cal, Cere, Eno Cordova, Dagan Gera, and the fifth story one that is a big spoiler so I won’t mention it but it’s not any of the ones you mentioned.

Other Jedi could beat Vader in a fight. He wasn’t omnipotent and several jedi brought him to an inch of his life in a few occasions. Take Obi Wan for example.

You’re right tho, Luke was the only one who could help redeem Vader and that was the the hope part.

Luke being the last hope isn’t so much about Luke being a Jedi, it’s about him being a son and still being able to reach Vader on an emotional level that nobody else would be able to and bring him back to the light. Ahsoka, Obi Wan, and others could fight him to a standstill, but that’s not really changing anything.

to be fair, that game about surviving Jedi with 5 whole Jedi ends up with only 1 Jedi.

Luke was still the last hope for the jedi. Of those that survived the purge, most of those that remained on the Jedi path died by the end of the OT. The remaining survivors like Ahsoka, Grogu, Cal, and this new character Baylon all turned their backs on continuing/reestablishing the Order. Yes, some of their

luke was the last hope of the Jedi, san Leia. Jedi have tried to beat Vader but failed. no jedi could beat Vader in a fight. It was the fact that Luke was Vader’s son and could redeem Vaders soul that gave the Jedi Hope of survival.

I’ll mess around with the goofier appearances on repeat playthroughs, but I cannot get invested in the story if my player character looks like the dude who puts up No Trespassing signs in his ‘yard’ in spite of the fact that nobody besides his meth dealer has any interest in stepping foot on that property anyway.
