Second, there was a toilet on the razorcrest.

I think the showrunners are smart enough to write around that, to my mind I can’t remember if it’s ever been stated what Leia was doing prior to the events of New Hope. Be easy for Bail Organa to say she’s elsewhere, on some diplomatic mission ;)
Respectfully, that feels like a huge reach. It doesn’t take a force sensitive to want to get the fuck aware from the Empire, especially if you’re Luthen.
I especially enjoyed the scene between Saw and Luthen where Luthen prevents Saw from going into a killing rage by saying “OK, call Kreegyr and tell him what’s up.” It’s just further evidence that rebellions are messy and not just hot shot pilots doing heroic trench runs on Death Stars.
Of course the Mothma scene imparts new information. It tells us that Leida is weirdly embracing her creepy-ass Chandrilian conservative roots and might not actually MIND being packaged off to another guy. Which does little to quell Mon’s anguish over it, since she knows how shitty those arrangements turn out to be.
And even if it somehow had succeeded in not being edgelord bullshit fan service... it still would have been directed by Colin Trevorrow. (Looks at JW: Dominion)
Many Bothans died to bring you these savings.
I thought the 400,000 credits was just the amount she was trying to quietly move around to support the Rebels. I got the impression that it’s only a tiny fraction of her actual fortune.
I thought the 400k credits were just what she’d siphoned off to the rebellion?
Help me, loyal customer. You’re my only hope!
She could open her own dealership.
Not since... I don’t know, maybe KOTOR 2?... have we had such a morally murky take on the Star Wars universe. I love it. Wars have casualties of all types, something that the movies rarely actually engaged with.
When there’s absolutely no legitimate reason whatsoever to make you do that, yeah.
Wait... are you seriously complaining about a complaint, about a launcher inside of a launcher?
more launcher equal more ressources used to run them. more chance of having conflict, more chances of having a bug preventing you to run your game etc etc
No. We’re complaining about hitting a button, waiting for a bunch of advertising bullshit to load, and only then being able to press the button we wanted to press in the first place. And that button is usually followed by a bunch more advertising bullshit before we can even start the game proper.
It’s not just an extra click, though. It’s extra loading time pulling up the launcher instead of just starting to load the game. It’s extra ads that you can’t opt out of. In some cases, like Ubisoft’s proprietary launcher, it’s pretty much bloated malware.
A. It was the first multi-publisher launcher, and having ONE central hub for your games is fine. Launching a launcher FROM YOUR LAUNCHER is the problem. That and publishers trying to force you to abandon your launcher in favor of their thing.
It was first, or at least very early, and widely adopted for broad PC platform. Similarly Steam wouldn’t get a pass if it only launched Valve games, I would assume.
So the truth comes out. They re-casted her first. Sounds like the 4k was them trying to throw her a bone in a cameo role. Which would be insulting for someone begging to reprise the role of the protagonist.
