What did it set up though?

But but MARY SUE AND SJW and and...

Yeah. Lucas had lots of good ideas, they just needed to be filtered and refined (which is why the Prequels suffered - no one told him “no”). I will always contend that on the whole, TLJ was the right direction to go. I wish they’d had the courage to continue with what it set up.

Yep. I could see how VIII might be very different, and possibly “better” if in a different trilogy, but I honestly think given the setup of VII, VIII absolutely made sense and was also beautifully done. And this approach to Luke could also work well even with a different VII. I think the fans blaming RJ for “ruining”

Honestly, I don't know how people thought that TFA could have led to any other version of Luke. People don't hide themselves in the most secluded place they can find because they are eager to fight.

Simple. Clean. I like it.”

The full game has over 140 tracks. I find it hard to believe nothing would stand out to you. Heck Kingdom Hearts 3 alone has like 160 tracks on its OST. Plus Yoko Shimomura is considered a legend when it comes to video game music composers. You telling me none of her KH music stands out to you. You cray cray my

It’s like a Race Bannon only with an inappropriate amount of bow violence for a kids show instead of guns.

My educated guess: Something related to Mario 35th anniversary

You’re missing out on Mass Effect Citadel levels of storytelling and closure. But I get it.

Play the games. Catching up won’t hook you into the universe, because just reading up on it means it’ll look like standard high fantasy to you. You need to really experience the characters to see any uniqueness.

I’m the weird person who loves DA:I passionately and have played it like 4 times through. I know I’m setting myself up for Andromeda level disappointment but I can’t help it. I’m hyped.

That’s a difficult question to answer.  It’s not like the games have one singular plot thread running through them like in the Mass Effect franchise.  But you would miss a LOOOOOOT of context just by jumping to the newest entry completely blind of everything that came before.

*checks watch* how much time you got because I will gladly give you the rundown.

Karen is not a single mom - she is still married to Mr. Wheeler.  He’s such a non-entity thought that Emily considers her a single-mom.

The atmosphere for this game was perfect. All the games really haven’t had that classic star wars feel since KOTOR series imo (talking Singleplayer stories)

I was in love with BD-1 from the moment he appeared. I have a soft spot for most of Star Wars’ Droid companions but BD is on my top 3. He is amazing.

“We need to be more like the Greeks and the Romans!”

I completely disagree. The ice slides were the worst. And even worse still were the ice slides that required you to jump, grab a rope, land on another ice slide and then ride the curve just so without falling off. Whoever designed those mechanics can go straight to Crash Bandicoot hell!

Well it is called Jedi Fallen Order...I’ll see myself out.

Naw, the first problem with GoT was that it didn’t care about its characters’ growth as much as its characters’ “traits.” When someone says, “You could tell from Season 1 how this story would end,” that’s not a compliment. That’s a story without an arc.
