Those both had Jedi v. Sith moments which Mando has avoided and is an important distinction, but yes, both of those series were also fantastic. I think the title could be clarified with live-action Star Wars TV series.

plus, the scene was HONESTLY funny, not the forced awkward of yet another clueless C3PO moment.

After feeling a little pummeled by RoS’ aggressive pacing, having an extended scene in the Mandalorian where two insouciant scout troopers just slouch and fuck around for an extended scene was a balm.

Now playing

Heather has me do the top image for this post yet did not include my favorite trailer of the decade, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. I feel betrayed.

This is a measured response. Thank you.

Ha! That’s hilarious. It was indeed a very large box.

I am one of the few people that didn’t really hate the Canto Bight sequence. People act like it was the death of cinema when it was literally only 11 minutes of the film (yes, it’s been timed).

The Jabba’s palace sequence in RotJ is almost 1/3rd of the entire film and it’s an episodic adventure that has little to no

RoS is an obvious reaction to the fan’s reactions to TLJ.  Kennedy and Abrams should be ashamed of themselves for caving in to this fan service film.

With how much TROS goes out of its way to rewrite and ignore TLJ i can only assume its because Dominic is a friend of JJ and JJ hates anything set up by the last movie. Finn and Rose’s kiss is never even brought up and acknowledged. The movie makes sure to show Rose give the “I have to do my homework” excuse clearly

I have a 2008 Avalanche with close to 300k and I plan on keeping it for as long as humanely possible. The folding midgate is awesome and gets regular use. Everyone who says “get a minivan” misses one crucial point. You cant just throw mulch, Soil, Concrete, or anything dirty on the back of a minivan without destroying

Having owned a 2007 Avalanche for 10 years and 160k miles I can say it was definitely the most versatile vehicle I have ever owned.  The mid gate was great the hand full of times I needed it.  With the bed covers on that entire 8 ft bed was waterproof as well.  I miss that vehicle and would have been a buyer of a new

I’m just going to assume that Palpatine was lying and made the whole thing up.

Well, in defense of the Erso family, they literally called Saw specifically to come help them, so it wasn’t a “maybe someone will show up” situation.

I’m all for “episodes are as long as they need to be” in concept, but this show was so consistently simplistic and underdeveloped that each episode felt like it needed a bare minimum of 10-15 minutes more story per.

It reminded me of one of the Family Guy Star Wars specials.

People in Star Wars are hilariously open to throwing their children to fate.

To quote a great movie: Amazing. Every word of what you just said was wrong.

Saw it last night. A few thoughts:

That changing of Rey’s parentage really frustrated me to no end, especially because it really made me appreciate the TLJ’s approach. There’s something awesome about this concept that someone will be there to rise up, no matter what their background, only to ignore it because it has to be about destinies and

It’s what I saw. They kept going back (again and again) to the role of Luke being Mythic, and his resistance to accept that role. In the end, he does, in grand dramatic fashion specifically to be the “Spark” to light a resistance. That’s exactly what I saw in TLJ.
