I find it so odd that a new iteration of an existing IP has to justify its existence relative to its predecessors. Like, we’re all in agreement that the universes of stuff like LotR or Star Wars are deep and interesting enough that not every story has to tie to Frodo Baggins or Luke Skywalker, right?

It’s hard to say this after only viewing the first episode, but my general impression is that the show seems like it’s being made by people who really appreciated GoT at its peak, so I’m all in.

Is it just me or is it significantly harder to close a game or turn off a PS5 than it was on a PS4?

I attend quite a few tradeshows in my line of work and, from my experience within the past 12 months or so, even “unrestricted” conferences are seeing decreased attendance because a portion of their base still feels uncomfortable attending an event of its size.

I’ll admit that accessibility wasn’t something that I’d considered and there’s definitely merit in making a good game playable for more people.
