And I don’t think he can actually refuse to turn over a criminal, per the Constitution.

He’s telling the truth.  He’s not wasting time on THEIR stunts.  He’s got a full schedule of his own stunts to pull.

There are many ways to not tolerate intolerance. Peaceful protest and violence are both means to do that. He is arguing violence is better at it. He’s wrong.

Yeah, it’s the fear and expense deterrent they are after. Not sure how anyone could possibly win such a lawsuit. What’s a community standard? Are they posted somewhere? Who gets to decide them? A majority? How large a majority?

The first paragraph explains that it is an org governing international track events like World Championships and the Olympics.  So, not just the U.S.

Really forces one to reflect on how fucked up our system of government is that a decision this impactful is being left up to one un-elected mediocre white man.

I’ve put it this way before: “As long as people keep giving them money to develop this game.... why would they ever stop?”

Not that I’ve tested it, but even if the door release button doesn’t work when locked remotely (which sounds fishy to me), the manual release should. And at least on my Model 3, the manual release is in such an obvious location at the end of the armrest, most people who have never been in a Tesla will assume it’s the

Yep. I know my Model 3 did it at least. Fortunately just a checkbox I could un-tick in a settings menu though. Googling, I see some talk about the Leaf doing it too so it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s a common “feature.”

They still do it though. Just like fake shift points in CVTs, they faked Idle creep in EVs to make it seem more familiar to people who are used to driving ICE cars with automatic transmissions.

I wouldn’t say that’s unexpected.  He’s more than likely been thinking about a Presidential run for at least that long.

The cruelty argument is sort of irrelevant because even those who think this cruelty is justified by the nature of the crimes are ignoring the fact that not everyone who is executed... did the crime.

I read it more as poetic justice.  HE thinks it’s bad so it’s justice that he is affected by it.   In fact, it might even be good if he gets a taste of bald-shaming from his bro fanbase.  I’ve always said, these people are incapable of understanding anyone else’s pain but their own.  If they could, they wouldn’t be

More than likely they DID campaign on these culture war bullshit issues and it’s why they won. These people are bad but they aren’t the worst.

It’s a fair point.  Should I really be forced to believe Iowa Republicans are real people?  What about MY freedoms!

She’s a member of Congress. If she was physically attacked, that’s a federal offense and the FBI would be getting involved.

This was my first reaction to the headline as well. “What? She ran into a full length mirror at a restaurant?”

Thank you. I used a bad example.

Yeah, I really don’t see where they are going with that defense considering other news orgs reported, at length, on the very same “newsworthy” allegations of voter fraud, “somehow” without defaming Dominion Voting Systems in the process.

It doesn’t force them to do anything. Calling ourselves “pro choice” didn’t stop them from calling us “pro abortion” so why would adding a word to that change anything?
