Pretty sure that ship sailed when they all voted for a thrice-married former reality TV show host and serial liar who was cheating on his third wife WHILE she was pregnant with his fifth child... or something like that.
I will also gladly buy some donuts while I’m there.
Cognitive dissonance is real. Conservative voters live in a media bubble that won’t let them see this news without the proper spin. The headline for this story over at Fox, last I looked, was how Ken Paxton “defended” himself from a media narrative about him running away.... despite the fact he actually DID THAT SHIT.…
If you had told me about social media in 1977, I would never have believed it.
There are apparently even older versions of this “counting rhyme” from all over the world, but this is one of those cases of racists appropriating something so thoroughly that even if it’s not technically “the original”, it might as well be by now.
Yeah, but it’s tricky. “Here’s a bunch of cool toys!” and then “But if you use them we’ll punish you!” doesn’t make for a fun game.
And it will probably work with their voters.
I’ve said it before. As long as people keep giving them money to develop the game, why would they stop... developing it?
Their logic is that they are sending them to places that want to help them.

It’s true that the vote result for the referendum in Kansas was better for pro-Choice than the polls prior to the election would have suggested. It was around 50/50 in polling opinions on abortion being legal/illegal but the measure ended up defeated by something like 18 points.
Still has a fair number of minor bugs, some of which sometimes require me to save/reload. But nothing really too bothersome.
He’s got nothing to worry about. WV is just absurdly Trumpy and abortion being illegal in all or most cases is the majority opinion there by something like 25 points.
Do we still live in a country where rational legal justifications matter?
I find it hard to believe they didn’t misrepresent something while obtaining this “consent”, especially if they are dropping people off in front of the VP’s residence but telling them they’re getting a hotel or a job interview to get them on the bus.
Yeah, this seems oddly close to the definition of “kidnapping” actually.
Your mind is going to be blown when you hear about this little thing called religion.
Letting their kids think for themselves is the last thing conservatives want.
I love the sheer audacity of the guy saying ‘not an issue at all.’
