Politicians have never cared that much about the truth, but they always cared enough about lies to at least put some effort into bending the truth, blowing dog-whistles, or just double-talking until you didn’t even know what they were saying.

I bought a Model 3 in Feb. 2019 (Dec. 2018 build) and I looked at this whole Autopilot thing and thought, “That’s gonna be some shenanigans... I’m keeping my $5K (which is what EAP cost at the time)“ They then tried to get me to buy basic Autopilot later for, I think, $1K or $2K, something like that. Turned that down…

But it won’t. There are more than enough of them that COVID will only take a small portion... and while it’s doing so it will use them as a petri dish to grow new variant strains that might one day kill a whole lot more of the rest of us.

It must be so blissfully easy to be a conservative. I’m almost jealous.
