It’s a bug when it’s an obstacle to meaningful progress

It’s mostly not up to the party leadership to decide the culture of the party. It’s decided collectively by voters. We’re a diverse party because our voters are diverse. Republican voters are much more a monolith.

Yeah, but their distaste extends only to his demeanor. His lack of “decorum”.

It’s a feature, not a bug. I would rather stand by a party that still argues with itself than whatever the fuck the GQP has become. Look at how many of them are moving to censure their members just for having the audacity to say their leader may have done wrong (when there is overwhelming evidence he did wrong).

I can totally understand voting for him if your other choice is a Republican. I live in Texas. It’s not that I wouldn’t prefer someone more progressive than Manchin... but fuck. I’d vote for Manchin any day if my other choice is Ted Cruz.

I literally saw somebody’s tweet the yesterday that AOC and O’Rourke only did this to make Cruz look bad.

I’m in Texas too and... local news coverage? Are you serious? We’re talking about the half of America (and more than half of Texas) that belongs to the “news is fake” party.

I am so confused. Ted Cruz is evil, but he’s not stupid. And this is just so obviously the absolute last thing someone in his position should be doing during a historic disaster in his home state.

I prefer to call what they do “believing” rather than “thinking”. They have beliefs and feelings... not rational thoughts. They believe Biden is a socialist because that’s what their media and leadership has told them to believe.

It’s not any one election. It’s the cumulative effective of regressing on justice reform every time Republicans are swept into power. It was no different this time. DoJ investigations of police abuse all but vanished under Trump.

I’d have asked for a stronger... uh... medication.

That’s another irony. Privately, he HATES these people. They are “suckers and losers”. He controls them but has no respect for them. They are “low class” to him.  The only people whose respect Trump craves are the rich and/or famous.  Those he considers, if not peers, at least worthy of worshipping him.

Eh... come on. The uproar was not a bunch of people simply saying it sucked without saying why. People wrote volumes of what they didn’t like and it fed into some of the things Bioware ended up changing, such as answering what happens to Shepard’s squad during the beam run.
