Remember when Trump rode his golf cart while the other G7 leaders all walked 700 yards to a photo shoot?  It just never ceases to amaze me how much Trump embodies (literally) the international stereotype of the overweight, lazy, arrogant, and stupid American.

Yeah, it feels like I’ve seen this one somewhere before too:

This whole Stone sentencing thing is sounding a whole lot like how Putin’s Russia works. Putin doesn’t tell people directly to do the corruption. He just makes public statements indicating his mood or preferences and some lackey goes and does it. If it blows up in his face, he just claims he never told anyone to do

If you think you’re gonna trounce a populist message with a centrist “well we can’t really do anything at all it’s just too hard” message...well...2016 would like to say hello.

Yeah, the fear is mainly about the unknowns. Which to me is pretty justifiable.

I’m confused.  IS there any money coming their way?  If she’s already going to a charter school for free and isn’t planning on moving then it doesn’t sound like they’re getting a dime.  Considering the whole line about her being in a failing government school was a lie, I’m thinking the scholarship is too.  Or

Far as I know there is no EULA you sign when you buy a Tesla that says Tesla reserves the right to disable the Autopilot if you sell the vehicle. Autopilot is sold as “optional equipment” and appears on the window sticker of a new vehicle. It’s not a subscription service.

Not for long.  Ford and GM will be releasing cars with OTA capability this year or maybe next.

You know, it’s been great, but if I’m actually arguing with someone who thinks literally every Tesla sold with Autopilot since 2014 has been kept by the original owner for five years before being sold... I think I’m done here.

As of this report, it happens and it’s possible.

Is Tesla known for commonly removing features people have paid for via OTA update? Because that’s what you’re telling me you’re worried about.

Just because they technically can doesn’t mean they legally can. If you paid for a feature they can’t just arbitrarily take it back. The technology here doesn’t change the law. This article is obviously some screw up on someone’s part and it could well be Tesla’s. But it doesn’t sound like intentional malice. If

Well Susan Collins DID promise us that Trump would have learned a lesson from all this.  Judging by the way he’s dancing in the end-zone right now, I’d say we know what lesson that is.

God I can’t wait. Video clip of Collins making her bullshit statement followed by Trump spiking the football and dancing in the endzone to celebrate his acquittal. Giuliani is already on tape after the trial being evasive about continuing investigations in Ukraine, finally saying the President hasn’t told him to STOP

It was always the most likely outcome but I wouldn’t say there was no chance. The fact that Republicans voted against witnesses despite 75% support for it among the public proves that THEY knew there was a chance that witnesses could have been so damaging they’d have been forced to convict.

This is one of those half full/empty things. It is depressing to look at his support never changing much, but the flip side of that is the disapproval is equally as solid and has been in the majority his entire term.

Anyone? Yes. A lot of people? No. But we don’t need a lot of people. His approval rating has been pretty solid (solidly bad) the whole way through his term so far indicating that most of his base of support is very solid (as is the opposition to him). But it has moved a little. So there are definitely some people

I’m not talking about snappy comebacks. I’m talking about putting them on record with the cover up. I’m also not talking about persuading “trump supporting scum”. Those people are lost.

For the sake of what’s left of my own sanity, I’m going to leave out of the discussion the few who might have actually voted for nuclear war.

I thought I was being pretty cynical, but you’re welcome!
