Morons. You’re supposed to burn down the stadium after the team moves to LA

As a former vertically challenged baseball player, Altuve has been my spirit animal for the last several seasons. I sincerely hope he can play in the playoffs

I highly suggest you avoid men’s slow pitch softball leagues in central Massachusetts. I play with my brother when I’m in town and they all call each other “kid.” I'm the youngest person there by at least 10 years and I'm 30

We’ll miss you, Yogi

Maybe they can work this into Moneyball as a deleted scene. My wife actually thinks Scot Hatteberg was the key to that team, and not the multiple Cy Young caliber starting pitchers and a juiced to the gills Tejada

Has anyone ever told Lenny Kravitz that’s he’s incredibly wealthy and doesn’t have to accept every offer that comes his way? I guarantee if someone offered him $20 and a Coke, he would play a kid’s birthday party.

So your position is because one bad thing happens, we shouldn't try to stop other bad things from happening. I guess because people died from Ford Pintos, we probably shouldn't have any laws regulating financial trading.

I see Goodell’s fighting spirit looms large at his alma mater.

Back when I played in D-10 in northwest PA, it was unusual for a team to throw for 782 yards in a season. That counts when guys like Bob Sanders, Marlin Jackson, and Jovin Johnson were QBs in that league. The best player to recently come out of D-10 is James Conner at Pitt

He’s a great hitter, but he’s owed almost $200 million through his age 39 season and has a $7 million buyout for his age 40 season. Obviously he’s going to decline- all humans do (without chemical help). I just don’t see anyone willing to take the contract and give up the multiple grade A prospects the Reds would want

Boston is the only team that could absorb the salary and that has a glaring need at first base, but I don’t think they’d give up much for the privilege. He’s still great at getting on base, but I think he's going to end up as Todd Helton

It’s definitely the losing. He started chirping earlier in the game when he struck out, but the called second strike was clearly a strike, but I think the reality has sunk in that he's utterly untradeable and the Reds won't be contending against the Cards, Pirates, and Cubs for the remainder of his prime.

Did Micheal Stipe authorize the use of his song for this video?

I have no idea what you mean about the sexuality part, but the economic loss doctrine doesn't apply in every state, so her emotional distress can count as a harm. You might not agree with the fact that she's distressed, but she obviously is distressed.

How is it not a business transaction? She paid money and picked out the donor she wanted. They didn't give it to her. I think she's being awful about the way she talks about the baby, but the initial fault in all of this lies with the clinic

It was tossed because of the specific legal theory her attorney put forward. She can refile the suit under a negligence theory. I don't know what her damages are, but the sperm bank certainly didn't give her what she wanted

Yeah, but she didn’t get what she ordered. It’s still negligent (and pretty disturbing) on the part of the sperm bank.

I’ll take US News over the anecdotal evidence of the people you know. I know people who got into UCF and not USF.

Keep telling yourself that. Their admissions profiles are almost identical. And the state has three official flagships- UF, FSU, and USF. I agree UF is much more prestigious, but the class profiles are very similar at the other two (and honestly, UCF isn’t very far behind).

UCF is lucky to be in this pathetic conference. It’s not really up to them and other than recent winning seasons, USF is a more attractive option in terms of revenue potential.
